The outrage continues. To mangle a quote from Shakespeare, ” Fools continue to be fooled a million times before they see the light, but the wise man appreciates his error but once. It seems most strange to me that men should fear admitting their mistake, rather than allowing themselves to be taken advantage of, time after time, because of misplaced pride.”

The Obama administration is taking advantage of America’s cyclical downturn, with propaganda and lies, which would never pass muster in better times. The administration is lying about its national health policy, it is lying about the success of its stimulus package, and it is lying about its foreign policy. I am saddened by the fact that a lot of allegedly intelligent citizens were taken in by Obama’s political magic act, for now, the entire nation, along with our allies, is going to pay the price.

The job creation numbers, that came out Friday, are not telling the true story. Yes, new jobs have been created by the new administration. However, most of them are related to government employment. Job growth outside of the beltway is still dropping, in some areas reaching the mid double digits. Even if the weather were better, you could not pay me to live in Detroit.

As far as Stimulus having any part in job creation, forget it. Your hard earned tax dollar, both what you have paid in the past and what you will pay far into the future, is now sitting in the hands of our major banking institutions and major Wall Street Brokerage Firms. Have you tried to get a loan recently? I can guarantee you that you won’t succeed. Stimulus money has not done anything for our economy other than prop up those institutions, which were the basis of our economic doldrums.

Housing starts are DOA. Sales of existing homes are in the positive, but unfortunately one could sell ice to the Eskimos if it was cheap enough. If you were dumb enough to include the equity of your home in your planned retirement package, you now face having to work until the grim reaper comes for your wasted skeleton. Forget any idea of a planned retirement, unless you enjoy living in a washing machine box in some damp alley. If you thought the stock market, which included trillions of dollars in man made but inchoate derivatives, was the answer to a better tomorrow, the lack of oversight by our esteemed Congress has turned your investment into bupkus.

But wait. Wall Street, with Congressional blessings, plans to sell derivatives in the Carbon footprint market. Talk about Chutzpah. Congress, to this day, has no idea what the housing derivatives are, and now they are planning to create Carbon derivatives. Who have we elected, the Marx brothers? Even Harpo wasn’t that stupid.

If you think that, as with past cycles of downturn, that this to shall pass then you are in for a rude awakening. The Obama Cap and Trade plan, which is nothing more than a rehash of our old pollution credit policies that never worked, will, if legislated, cause an even greater loss of jobs as American industry falls prey to the Halloween mischief of Mr. Al Gore and his fictional global warming. Do you think emerging nations give a damn for how much of a carbon footprint they make? Of course not. Only foolish America will succumb to the death knell proposed by this Cap and Trade Voodoo. As carbon producing industry goes bankrupt in the U.S., those same industries will emerge in South America and Africa.

As far as foreign policy is concerned, let me be brief in my condemnation. Placing Hillary as Secretary of State may have kept her away from the future Presidential campaigns, but it really has screwed up our foreign policy. In short, we have no foreign policy. What was is now a free for all, and before long, the term free will not be of much effect.

Finally, have you taken the time to read some of the nuances of the proposed Congressional Health bills? You will be more frightened by the proposals of the Senate and the Houses versions of the National Health bills than you are of the brain dead shriek movies being mass produced in Hollywood. As a matter of fact, the two proposed bills are a perfect example of the Socialism/Communism portrait that our new President is trying to paint in this country. Talk about a loss of liberty. The proposed National Health plans are a blueprint of how to begin the painting.

Just remember this. You have been warned. If you are in your 60’s and 70’s, you don’t have enough time left to be hit as harshly as your grandkids, but you will still feel the heat. Stick your hand into a fig bowl, which reads in bold letters, “Contains Venomous Snake” and you deserve what you get. We have elected a venomous Congress and Executive. It only takes one bite.
